The facilities can store artworks without being subject to customs duties and other payments for a certain period of time.
FEATURE
The bonding system allows art to be transported from the owner's country of residence for the purpose of viewings and acquisitions under bonded conditions. BONDED GALLERY and BONDED LOUNGE enable viewings and acquisitions of art pieces transported to Japan from overseas without them being subject to customs duties and other payments.
SERVICE
BONDED LOUNGE
A bonded warehouse offering a dedicated area for importing and exporting artworks to and from Japan, as well as providing a venue for viewing and acquiring art.
With a floor space of 84.2 m² and a ceiling height of 3.5 m, it is suitable for housing large paintings and sculptures. The lounge is available for both private and general viewings and acquisitions.
Facilities: Bonded warehouse (84.2 m²), bonded lounge area (47.5 m²), general area lounge (52.3 m²)
Specifications: 3.5 m ceiling height, temperature and humidity control, a large elevator, gas fire extinguishers, various security measures (surveillance cameras, motion detectors, card keys, etc.)
BONDED GALLERY
The facility is a permanent venue within TERRADA ART COMPLEX II that already houses Japan's leading art galleries. It is a venue for domestic and overseas galleries to showcase their artworks and conduct acquisitions since artworks from overseas can be exhibited and viewed under bonded conditions.
Facilities: Gallery space (132.71 m²), warehouse (12.38 m²)
Specifications: 3.5 m ceiling height, temperature and humidity control, total camera surveillance inside the bonded area for transporting artworks (in accordance with 42-17 of the Basic Notice of the Customs Law), large elevators, etc.
