Warehouse TERRADA to Host District-Wide Art Event, TENNOZ ART WEEK 2026, in Tennoz, in Collaboration with International Art Fair Tokyo Gendai
An art fair spanning a two-building gallery complex, a special exhibition co-curated with artist Noboru Tsubaki, and exclusive, limited-time access to art studios: Discover the cutting edge of Japanese contemporary art during this four-day event
Warehouse TERRADA will participate as an official partner in Tokyo Gendai, the international art fair to be held in Yokohama in September 2026. In conjunction with the fair, the company will host the district-wide art event TENNOZ ART WEEK 2026 in Tennoz, Tokyo, from Thursday, Sept. 10 to Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026.

TENNOZ ART WEEK takes place across the area surrounding Warehouse TERRADA in Tennoz — a hub where galleries, museums, and facilities for artwork storage and international logistics converge. Visitors can stroll through the neighborhood while discovering a rich variety of art.
Marking its fourth edition, the event will feature an art fair hosted across multiple floors at TERRADA ART COMPLEX — a gallery complex renovated from two former warehouse buildings. This layout allows visitors to appreciate a wide array of artwork presented by domestic and international galleries all at once as they wander through the multi-story facilities. Additional highlights include open studios showcasing artists’ workspaces, a special exhibition co-curated by contemporary artist Noboru Tsubaki as guest curator, and workshops utilizing traditional Eastern art supplies. Alongside the art exhibitions, programs offering a glimpse into actual creative spaces and techniques provide a broad presentation of the current state of contemporary art.
Through its collaboration with the international art fair Tokyo Gendai, Warehouse TERRADA aims to bridge the Tennoz area with the global art scene, expand the reach of contemporary art both domestically and internationally, foster the further growth of Japan’s overall art market, and elevate the country’s cultural presence.
