Art Gallery Cafe WHAT CAFE to Present “ON PAPER” Exhibition Starting April 29th (Wed), 2026 — A Week to Experience Art Up Close
WHAT CAFE, an art gallery cafe operated by Warehouse TERRADA, will host "WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol. 45: ON PAPER: Art and Print Market" from April 29th (Wed) to May 6th (Wed), 2026.

The exhibition explores the vast expressive possibilities of “paper”—one of the most familiar materials for artists and a fundamental source of inspiration. It showcases a wide range of paper-based works, including light-touch drawings, delicate prints, and three-dimensional pieces made with Japanese “washi” paper. In this second edition, WHAT CAFE will present approximately 500 artworks by 49 artists, in collaboration with 10 domestic galleries dedicated to supporting up-and-coming talent.
In addition to artworks, visitors will find self-produced items and publications, with a selection of pieces available to take home on the spot. This exhibition merges the gallery experience with a marketplace, making it an ideal entry point for first-time art owners. From art enthusiasts to those new to the art world, everyone can discover the diverse possibilities of expression created through paper.
