Art Gallery Cafe, WHAT CAFE to Hold the Exhibition “TOPOLOGY 02” with DELTA from November 29th (Sat) Until December 14th (Sun), 2025
Featuring artists selected by paired directors from the Kanto and Kansai regions
WHAT CAFE, an art gallery cafe operated by Warehouse TERRADA, will have "WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol. 43 WHAT CAFE x DELTA 'TOPOLOGY 02' '" from November 29th (Sat) to December 14th (Sun), 2025. This exhibition is a collaboration with DELTA, an art project that introduces galleries, directors, and artists based in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

For this occasion, a total of 10 young to mid-career directors in the Kanto and Kansai areas will participate in the exhibition. The directors are grouped into pairs and will create five sections under their joint direction. Since opening in 2020, WHAT CAFE has consistently hosted exhibitions that broaden the scope of art and foster exchanges transcending regional and social contexts. This collaborative exhibition with DELTA is our fourth, marking a renewed effort to strengthen the relationship between the two organizations.
The exhibition’s title, “TOPOLOGY,” refers to a thought system that focuses on “hidden properties” that remain unchanged despite continuous change. This exhibition explores the concept of TOPOLOGY and the project’s core idea of “connections sustained amidst change” through intergenerational collaboration between directors and artists from diverse backgrounds and locations. Through the presentation of ongoing art from multifaceted perspectives, the exhibition aims to introduce diverse perspectives and values, creating a space where organic communication can flourish.
