Art Gallery Cafe, WHAT CAFE to Hold Collaborative Exhibition with CCC ART LAB, TC Lab, and SOMSOC Gallery from March 11th (Sat)

WHAT CAFE, an art gallery cafe operated by Warehouse TERRADA, will have WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol.25 from March 11th (Sat) until March 26 (Sun), 2022.

[Overview]

WHAT CAFE will hold a collaborative exhibition with CCC ART LAB, TC Lab, and SOMSOC Gallery. CCC ART LAB provides an art media Bijutsu Techo and GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS, a store specializing in art books, based on its “Life with art” concept. TC Lab is branching out domestically and internationally as an art management company. SOMSOC Gallery is an up-and-coming art gallery located in Harajuku, Tokyo. WHAT CAFE has been engaged in bringing together young artists, collectors and art fans since its opening. This collaboration came to fruition through the understanding and support of CCC ART LAB, TC Lab, and SOMSOC Gallery. This exhibition will introduce 37 up-and-coming active artists in Japan and abroad. Their energetic artworks will be gathered beyond the genre, scene, and countries to Tennoz, Tokyo, and visitors will be able to feel the vigor of various art.

[About WHAT CAFE]

A space to exhibit and sell artworks by up-and coming artists in Japan. It boasts 800 square meters of luminous, expansive floor space. Works on display are constantly updated––a year-round flow of beauty and cool from the new pantheon of creative visual geniuses. This maximizes the opportunities for artists to be seen, be loved, and sell their work. We hold workshops, events, and meet-ups related to the exhibitions, so you can dive deep and meet like-minded art lovers. It’s a space to experience art with all five senses while enjoying a meal and drinks.
Since August 2022, WHAT CAFE has been holding exhibitions based on the concept “ART IS…” It offers a space to reconsider and rediscover what art is to everyone who visits WHAT CAFE.
