Warehouse TERRADA’s PIGMENT TOKYO Collaborates with DIC, World Largest Company in Ink Industry
PIGMENT TOKYO, an art materials lab operated by Warehouse TERRADA started the collaboration with DIC Corporation, and will offer DIC’s colorants through PIGMENT TOKYO store, workshops, and online shop for the first time to the public.
DIC, established in 1908 is a fine chemicals company with a top share in printing ink, includes manufacturing and sales of printing inks, and has capitalized on its capabilities in organic pigments and synthetic resins to build a broad portfolio to markets such as automobiles, electronics, foods and housing. And at present, DIC operates in more than 60 countries and territories around the world.
PIGMENT TOKYO, an art materials lab operated by Warehouse TERRADA is simultaneously a laboratory for exploring “expression in color and matiere” as well as an academy, a museum, and a store combined into a comprehensive facility for creativity since its opening in 2015. In addition to highly accomplished artists and researchers in materials and pigments, our staff includes creative directors and producers who excel in linking art and business. Together, our atelier works closely with foreign and domestic companies to provide technical support and consultation for project planning.
With this collaboration, PIGMENT TOKYO will introduce DIC Group’s safe and consumer-friendly colorant (such as INTENZA and Linablue) to individuals through PIGMENT store, workshops, and online shop, and expand its capacity for art.
