ARCHI-DEPOT MUSEUM Offers ARCHI-THURSDAY, Regular Event to Promote Architectural Culture and Attract More Fans
Vol.1: Collaboration with International Film Workshop 2019 on June 20th (Thu)
- Projection mapping event in a warehouse -
ARCHI-DEPOT MUSEUM operated by Warehouse TERRADA will present a regular monthly event ARCHI-THURSDAY for people in the architectural industry and for those interested in architecture.
The title of the event vol. 1 on June 20th is ARCHI-DEPOT MUSEUM x Students. We collaborate with International Film Workshop 2019 consisting of five universities such as Hosei University, Keio University, the University of Tokyo, Meiji University, and Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), and feature projection mapping in a warehouse.
On May 30th, we organized ARCHI-THURSDAY Vol.0, an invite-only kickoff event. About 200 guests in the fields of design, advertisement, IT, real estate as well as architecture visited the event, a special talk session featuring Masamichi Toyama of The Chain Museum and architect Satoshi Takae was presented, and the event received high acclaim.
ARCHI-DEPOT MUSEUM will continue to pursue a unique approach to promoting and harvesting a community of architectural culture.

Open Hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Admission until 6:00 PM), Closed on Mondays (but open when Monday is a public holiday, then closed the following Tuesday)
Admission: Adults 3,000 yen / Students 2,000 yen / 18 and under 1,000 yen

[About International Film Workshop 2019]
The annual international workshop of film production by the collaboration between students in Japan and the United States since 2010 (except 2011). While the Japan studio of Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), known for its advanced architectural education, is held in Tokyo, s students and faculty of SCI-Arc and Japanese Universities such as Hosei University, Keio University, the University of Tokyo and Meiji University, participate in the workshop.
Six student groups will make short films and represent their works on June 20 as the world premiere at Warehouse TERRADA H Building. The theme of this year is Labyrinth. Each group will produce a three to five minute film at one of the selected six places (Shinjuku, Kichijoji, Yanaka/Sendagi/Nezu, Yokohama, Rikugien and Kawasaki) as the location of the film. And the film will be projected in the warehouse space with three projectors at the same time.
