ARCHI-DEPOT MUSEUM to Hold Special Talk Event Associated with “GAUDI QUEST” Having Ellie Omiya as Guest

ARCHI-DEPOT MUSEUM operated by Warehouse TERRADA will hold a special event "Hiroya Tanaka x Ellie Omiya special talk session" on June 2nd, 2019 (Sun) at our event space TERRATORIA. It is an associated event of the current exhibition GAUDI QUEST, and will have writer/stage director, Ellie Omiya as a guest. (The exhibition is currently closed for the next exhibition set-up and will be open on May 22nd (Wed).)

More than 70 works by Hiroya Tanaka, surveyor and doctor of architecture, who has been measuring and drawing Gaudí’s works in Spain over 40 years, are displayed in this exhibition, and attracting a wide range of people including architecture fans. Linked with this exhibition, we will organize a special talk session featuring the exhibitor, Hiroya Tanaka and having Ellie Omiya as a guest who has presented a photo and art exhibitions recent years and active in diverse fields.

The talk about Spain, Gaudi’s works, life, and other various topics by these two great creators from different fields will respond to participants’ expectations. Please see the following for details of the event.

Open Hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Admission until 6:00 PM), Closed on Mondays (but open when Monday is a public holiday, then closed the following Tuesday)
Admission: Adults 3,000 yen / Students 2,000 yen / 18 and under 1,000 yen (Including the admission for the exhibition Room B “Wandering Wonder––Expanding the space of learning” (from Wednesday, May 22nd)
* Free admission for visitors with a physical disability certificate and one of their carers

An exhibition facility in Japan that specializes in architectural models. There are two types of exhibition spaces, and the exhibitions are presented under the particular concept on a temporary basis. The exhibits range from studies to complete models created by Japanese and foreign architects and architectural firms who are active in both Japan and overseas.
