ART COLLECTION EXHIBITION 2019

EXHIBITION

"ART COLLECTION EXHIBITION" curates shows of artistic masterpieces from collectors who have entrusted their art collections to Warehouse TERRADA's Art Storage service. Since 2015, the unique, diverse flair of these exhibitions has drawn wide praise, and we're pleased to present the sixth exhibition in the series. Come enjoy this exquisite array of artworks usually kept carefully hidden away in storage.

It is with great honor to curate the 6th ART COLLECTION EXHIBITION organized by Warehouse TERRADA. The show focuses specifically on the contemporary art in the Warehouse TERRADA’s art storage. For artists themselves, art is the pursuit for the truth, and I believe their works reach full maturity merely through the eyes of the public. While public recognition can elude many artists throughout their careers, collection of contemporary art is a practice of great faith and perseverance. Artists devote their lives to create artworks. Dedicated collectors may go as far as to tarnish their own glory in order to uncover the obscure values of the unknown artists and their visions, thus enriching the narrative of their own lives. I believe that such co-existence between artists and collectors acts as a mirror of our times, steadily gaining brilliance over time. The ART COLLECTION EXHIBITION is a unique exhibition to show the artworks held in Warehouse TERRADA’s storage with the utmost care. By illuminating the inseparable connection between the collection and artworks, we may be able to find a path to the new age in contemporary art.
