Temperature, humidity and lighting level are controlled, and the floor structure is equipped with vibrational absorption. Although located in central Tokyo, the environment is perfect for wine maturation, and comparable to a traditional cellar. Additionally, off-grid power generators, and earthquake and fire-proof structure will protect your valuable wine in case of a power outage or disaster.

Access is controlled through multiple security steps, and the key to each cellar is carefully protected. Entry is only allowed to those who have identified as registered users. Under the thorough security environment, your wine is stored safely.

On the wine cellar floor, there is an elegant lounge which is exclusive for wine cellar users. Without moving your matured wines anywhere, you can enjoy them with your family and friends in the lounge adjacent to your cellar. Share your special occasions in this special space.

Premium Walk-in Type

Largest walk-in cellars for storing around 3,000 bottles of wine. The storage environment is the optimum for wine, and your collection can be displayed as you please. The high quality space is offered only for you. The temperature and lighting level of each room can be adjusted accordingly.

Walk-in Type

Walk-in cellars for storing around 500-1,000 bottles of wine. Each cellar is especially allocated to you for customization for installing racks or cabinets. The temperature and lighting level of each room can be adjusted accordingly.

Cabinet Type

Vertical-shaped and cabinet type cellars for storing around 150-400 bottles of wine. The height of the shelf is adjustable for your liking. Temperature, humidity, and lighting level are perfectly controlled for the maturation of wine.

Q.What type of wine cellars is available?

There are three types of cellar; Premium walk-in, Walk-in, and Cabinet. We offer the perfect type of cellar for your number of bottles you collected. Also, TERRADA WINE STORAGE, an online wine storage is available, which enables you to store your wine from one bottle.

Q.Do you have any wine cellar locations other than Tennoz, Shinagawa?

We also have cellars in Futakotamagawa, Setagayadaita (Tokyo) and  Tsuzukishinishikawa (Kanagawa).

Q.Can I add and remove bottles in storage?

Wine cellar users can visit the cellar to retrieve or add bottles. Please note that the wine cellar in Tennoz, Shinagawa has the opening hours, and an advance reservation is required. Other cellars are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year so you can access your wines at your convenience.

Q.How are the wine bottles transported?

For shipment of stored wine, delivery service is available only in WINE CELLAR in Tennoz, Shinagawa.

Q.What do I need to complete a contract?

For customers requesting a personal contract, please have the following two items on hand:

  • Personal identification (printed with the address that will appear on the contract)
  • A valid credit card used for the payment
    * As proof of identification, a driver’s license or a health insurance card (printed with the address that will appear on the contract) is recommended. In case a passport is used as identification, a receipt of utility bill (issued within the past three months) or a copy of a resident card is also required.

For customers requesting a corporate contract, please have the following four items on hand:

  • A certificate of full registry records (issued within the past three months)
  • A certificate of seal registration (issued within the past three months)
  • A registered seal
  • A valid credit card used for the payment

Q.How are payments made?

Only credit card payment is available.

Q.How long are your contracts?

Contracts and cancellations are on a monthly basis. Pro-rated terms are not available. For short-term use for up to three months, contact us in advance.

Q.Is insurance coverage provided?

While a certain amount of coverage, in line with the amount you pay in storage fees, is included, we recommend taking out a separate property insurance policy for high-value wines. If you wish, we can assist with a policy in conjunction with our partner insurance firm.
